This training is designed for CAC Victim/Family Advocates. Training will include advocate specific information and simulation on conflict resolution/ de-escalation skills.

Valerie Isaacs is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Endorsed Infant Mental Health Mentor – Clinical. Valerie has worked with high trauma and court-involved populations for nearly 15 years in both urban and rural areas across Oklahoma. Valerie is a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) trainer, DC:0-5 Clinical Training trainer, a Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Facilitating Attuned Interactions supervisor in addition to being trained in a variety of evidence-based models for infant and early childhood mental health treatment and parenting.  Valerie currently works as the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Trainer and Consultant at OSU-CHS and is the owner/CEO of Valiant Counseling and Consulting in Broken Arrow, OK. The focus of Valerie’s work is developing and delivering high quality IECMH training, reflective consultation, and relationship-based therapies.
