Workshop description: This training examines professional boundaries and ethical decision-making within homelessness service settings. Participants will explore common boundary challenges that arise in outreach, case management, and supportive services, including dual relationships, over-identification, and navigating crisis-driven environments. Grounded in ethical standards and real-world scenarios, the workshop provides practical strategies for maintaining clear, consistent boundaries while building trust with clients experiencing housing instability. Participants will strengthen their ability to recognize boundary crossings, respond to ethical dilemmas, and apply reflective practice to support both client well-being and professional sustainability. Designed for frontline staff, supervisors, and multidisciplinary teams, this session emphasizes actionable tools that promote accountability, reduce burnout, and support ethical, client-centered care.
