Lecture description: Be the safe adult a child needs. When a child chooses to disclose potential abuse or neglect, your response can make all the difference. This training will prepare first responders and child-serving professionals with the tools to respond calmly, appropriately, and effectively. Learn how to offer support without leading the child, ask only the right minimal questions when necessary, and protect the integrity of the investigation, all while ensuring the child feels heard and safe.
