FLIP IT! An Approach to Challenging Behavior for Young Children

This training is based on the award winning book “FLIP IT-Transforming Challenging Behavior” written by Rachel Wagner Sperry, MSW from the Devereux Center for Resilient Children. This training will provide an introduction and background to FLIP IT, as well as the prerequisites that are needed before using the FLIP IT strategy. Participants will learn the 4 steps of FLIP IT and will have an opportunity to practice the FLIP IT steps. Participants are expected to attend all 3 sessions (registration is for all three).

Session One: Tuesday, October 13th 1-2:45pm (including a 15 min break)

Session Two: Tuesday, October 20th 1-2:45pm (including a 15 min break)

Session Three: Tuesday, October 27th 1-2:45pm (including a 15 min break)

Lecturer – Nicolle Moore MS, LMFT (Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant at The Parent Child Center of Tulsa)

The cost for this workshop is $20 in addition to CEU fees.

CEU’s will be available for Social Workers for $10 per credit hour.

The workshop will be by Zoom and limited to 50 participants. A workbook will be emailed to registered participants prior to the session.
