Presenter’s bio:

Alicia Cohen is a familial exploitation survivor and compassionate educator specializing in early childhood intervention. She has expertise in both domestic familial trafficking of children and faith-based trafficking of children. She holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Wilmington University and is pursuing a Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Rowan University. In 2019, she co-founded SAFE (Survivors of Familial Exploitation) to close the gap in available research and develop survivor-informed resources for direct service providers. She loves photography and spending her free time hiking the trails of New Castle County, DE with her three dogs and teenage daughter.
